This mask feels like you've visited the spa.  The lavender floral scent is used in aromatherapy for relaxation and the oil itself is soothing and healing.  Your skin will be exfoliated, conditioned, moisturized and smoothed with the combination of natural oceanic clay and lavender.

Lavender Extract and Essential Oil:

Lavender is regarded one of the most versatile therapeutic botanical essences, with a long history of varied use. It has traditionally been used to prevent infection and care for a number of skin ailments --from insect bites to burns. It has soothing, antiseptic qualities that make it a perfect remedy for inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, sunburn and the like.

Its smooth floral aroma is calming, refreshing, soothing, purifying and balancing, and is widely used for aromatherapy treatments.

Natural Oceanic Clay :

   * Detoxifying: Rich in minerals and rare elements, this oceanic clay is highly charged, meaning it carries a strong interactive force that makes it very reactive, and therefore, a powerful ion exchanger. When the clay is applied to the skin, the impurities, which are positively charged, are bound to the clay’s powerful negative charge, much like a magnet and ultimately are rinsed away with the removal of the clay.

   * Exfoliating: The fine colloidal size particles of the clay will enhance the removal of dead surface skin cells. The absorptive and ion exchange capacities of the natural oceanic clay could also lead to the more efficient removal from the skin surface of inorganic and organic cationic residues from sweat and sebum. It exfoliates the skin, promotes blood circulation and stimulates the regeneration of damaged or troubled skin.

   * Rehydrating: The clay also uses its osmotic strength to pull moisture up from deep inner tissues to hydrate the skin. Unlike the other cleansing agents, this oceanic clay deeply cleans the skin without drying it but making it more moisturized.

• Directions for Use
• After cleansing smooth a generous layer of clay evenly over the entire face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let dry 20 - 25 minutes. Wash mask off with warm water, using a sponge or face cloth.
• Dry skin: once a week.
• Normal skin: 1 - 2 times a week.
• Oily skin: up to 3 times a week.
• Mild tingling is to be expected due to the osmotic action of the clay.
